Individuals in the age of "information explosion" and, on the other hand, "information pollution" require comprehensive information that is classified and made available to them as soon as possible. Today, the United Nations considers the state of libraries in the world's countries as one of the indicators of the qualitative and quantitative growth of countries.

In such an era, universities are at the forefront of progress and the development of research and knowledge production, and are of great importance in culture building and the expansion of a culture of study and human growth and development, playing a significant role in this regard, and these libraries have always been considered as providers of information. University libraries are part of the organizational structure of the university and have come into existence to serve the goals of the organization; therefore, its purpose should be to advance the university towards fulfilling its functions. As the importance of these libraries increases day by day, and as a center for the collection and dissemination of scientific information, as well as providing research facilities for researchers, it is of great importance and is so intertwined in the university system that the image of the university without a library is impossible.
