Statement by the Basij of Kohdasht Higher Education Center Staff and Students on the Occasion of Commemorating the 9th of Dey Epic

The Staff and Students of Kohdasht Higher Education Center issued a statement on the occasion of commemorating the sixth anniversary of the Ninth of Dey epic, the text of which is as follows: The ninth of Dey was the day of the historical renewal of the covenant of the religious and insightful people of Iran with the Velayat, the Imam, and the original values of the Islamic Revolution. By re-examining the events of 2009 and, consequently, the Ninth of Dey epic, the plans and thoughts of the enemies of the revolution to distort and abolish the revolution become apparent, and the ever-present insight of the Islamic Iranian nation becomes more evident. The 36-year history of the Islamic Revolution is full of turning points that are etched in the minds of the noble and Velayat-loving people of Islamic Iran. The glorious era of the Sacred Defense, the seizure of the US spy den, and nuclear advancements are prominent examples that are part of the identity of every Velayat-loving and committed Iranian. In this arena, enemies and seditionists have always been trying to block the path of growth and prosperity of the Iranian nation, which has been thwarted by the insight of the nation and the wise leadership of the wise leader of the revolution. The sedition after the presidential election in 2009 was another of the plans and tricks of the opponents and biased people of the regime, which was nullified by the insight of the noble and martyr-loving Iranian nation in the Ninth of Dey 2009 epic. The enemies were unaware of the fact that a nation that has made a covenant with Hussein ibn Ali (AS) and the bloody uprising of Ashura does not tolerate oppression and sedition and rises up with the same Ashura spirit and creates great epics.
