Notice of Scientific Association Elections

Attention all Students: In order to attract students to the scientific activities of their field of study, train efficient personnel, and increase students' spirit of participation in the activities of scientific-student associations, the elections of scientific associations will be held in May. Article 1) Objectives: 1. Attracting new students to scientific activities; 2. Training efficient and active personnel for the continuation of the life of scientific-student associations; 3. Holding elections of scientific-student associations within a common framework in order to solve the existing problems in this field. Article 2) How to form scientific-student associations: 1. The members of the management council of each scientific-student association are determined through elections; in such a way that from among the candidates, 5 people are selected as main members and 2 people as alternate members for a period of one year by obtaining a relative majority of votes. Article 3) Candidate requirements: 1. At least two semesters of his/her study period remain. 2. The candidate's overall GPA must be higher than the average GPA of the students in that field. 3. Not to be a member of the central council of another student organization. Note 1: If the candidate is a member of the central council of another organization, the person in question must resign from his/her previous responsibility before candidacy for the scientific-student association. 4. Not to have a final verdict including a written reprimand and entry in the file and higher in the university disciplinary committees. Article 4) Conditions for voters: To be studying in the specialized field of the association.
