Responsibilities and Authorities of the Vice-Chancellor for Cultural Affairs

The Vice-Chancellor for Cultural and Social Affairs of Lorestan University, in line with the cultural objectives of universities, focuses on creating a suitable platform to address the cultural, religious, and social needs of students, faculty, and staff, and strives to operate based on the necessity of promoting and developing scientific, cultural, and religious aspects within the university environment.

Responsibilities
1- Planning to create a suitable platform to foster the growth and development of research, educational, cultural, social, and artistic talents of students.
2- Planning and organizing extracurricular classes, cultural competitions, exhibitions, festivals, etc.
3- Establishing student organizations and strengthening existing ones to attract student participation in cultural activities.
4- Supporting Islamic student organizations.
5- Creating opportunities for the development of creativity and the flourishing of student talents in cultural productions (films, publications, theater, etc.).
6- Organizing cultural conferences and gatherings and sending students to such conferences in other universities.
7- Supervising the observance of Islamic and national laws in the university and planning to address violations and guide offenders.
8- Establishing inter-departmental coordination to achieve goals and fulfill responsibilities in line with the overall policy of the university.
9- Supervising the activities of the Student Basij.
