Presence of the President, Staff, and Students of Koohdasht Higher Education Center in the Special Program for Student Day

This ceremony was held in collaboration and with the participation of all universities in the city from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Sunday, December 7, 2014, in the presence of the city's Friday prayer leader, Hojjatoleslam Tahmasebi, the governor, Mr. Mohammadi, heads, staff, and students of all universities in the city, in the amphitheater hall of the Department of Culture and ارشاد. During the ceremony, the city's Friday prayer leader, Hojjatoleslam Tahmasebi, congratulated Student Day and, referring to the historical events that led to the establishment of December 7, described students as an idealistic group seeking scientific and technological advancement for the country. He pointed out that the university environment is a sacred environment and advised students and professors to strive for the advancement of society, along with efforts for self-purification and the acquisition of spirituality. Also, during this ceremony, Dr. Hasani Rad, the president of Payame Noor University, and Dr. Yari, the president of Novavaran University, delivered speeches about December 7. Other programs of the ceremony included the recitation of Laki poetry by the Koohdasht poet, Mr. Karam Doosti, eulogy reading, the performance of humorous poetry about students and the university by Ms. Zahra Imani, a student of the Koohdasht Higher Education Center, the reading of a statement by the students of the city's universities about Student Day, and the awarding of prizes to active scientific students of this center and other universities in the city.
